Meeting later today (24th Dec) to try to avert Scottish Water holiday strike

Scottish Water’s management team and leaders of the GMB, Unite and Unison unions are to meet in Edinburgh later today (24th December). The drive is to try to reach an agreement in the pay dispute which, if it is not resolved, will see Argyll and Scotland at large without emergency cover for bursts, flooding and sewage problems from 4.00 pm today until 5th January.
